Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

Reports to: Director of DevOps

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Testing Strategies: Design and implement testing plans and strategies for software and hardware products, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Execute Test Cases: Perform manual and automated testing to validate product functionality, usability, and performance, identifying defects and ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Report and Track Defects: Document and communicate test results, tracking defects through to resolution while working collaboratively with development teams to ensure timely fixes.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvement initiatives by providing feedback on testing methodologies, tools, and practices, fostering a culture of quality.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2-4 years in quality assurance or software testing, with experience in both manual and automated testing environments.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit) and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) to effectively validate software products.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills to identify defects and assess product quality against defined standards, with a commitment to delivering high-quality products.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document test cases and report findings clearly and effectively.

  • Certified Software Tester (CST)
  • ISTQB Certified Tester (Foundation Level)
  • Agile Tester Certification
